Following
the successful debut of their 2007 Potenza tyres at the opening rounds
of the FIA Formula One World Championship, Bridgestone have now
confirmed the tyre specifications for the next six races.
In
keeping with Bridgestone's sole-supplier status, the Japanese company
must supply two compounds at each race. These are drawn from the four
dry grooved tyre compounds - super soft, soft, medium and hard -
produced for the season to cover all 17 rounds.
The soft and medium compounds were used at round one in Australia,
followed by medium and hard in both Malaysia and Bahrain. The super
soft will get its first outing in next month’s Monaco Grand Prix. Full
details are as follows.
Spain: medium, hard
Monaco: super soft, soft
Canada: super soft, soft
USA: soft, medium
France: soft, medium
Britain: medium, hard
